This product is designed for in-vehicle devices such as dashcams that require constant power. No wiring modification or disassembly is needed — simply plug and play. It provides stable power and a simulated ACC signal through the OBD interface
Product Details
- First-time Installation & Activation (only required the first time the device is plugged in; afterwards it can be used freely)
- After the vehicle is completely turned off, plug the OBD device into the vehicle’s OBD port;
- Leave it undisturbed for 30 seconds to complete initialization;
- Once initialization is complete, start the engine and drive — the device is ready for normal use.
- After the first-time activation is complete, there is no need to wait when getting in or out of the vehicle or when starting/stopping the engine — just use it normally.
- Engine-off & Lock Signal Description
After the engine is turned off and the doors are locked, the device will detect the vehicle power-off within 3 minutes and automatically send an engine-off / ACC OFF signal.
III. Special Cases
For certain pure electric vehicles that are powered on but not shifted into drive, the vehicle must be driven to 20 km/h (12 mph) for the device ACC to turn on.
